New Moon New Beginnings

Join Chloe Copeland on May 19, 5:00 - 6:15 pm. Celebrate the New Moon and a time for New Beginnings.  The only way to get to a new beginning is to let go of the way things used to be. Allow the potent energy of the New Moon to carry you forward, with a receptive quality, into the cycle ahead. Enjoy a full body practice as we ride the lunar pathway into Moon Salutations and abiding presence.

Spirals & Our Central Axis

Chloe Copeland will be leading this class on Tuesday, May 26, 5:00 - 6:15 pm. 

In this class we will explore a series of bands of connective tissue that spiral throughout the body. Bringing awareness to the spine and mobilizing these bands allows for greater stability and alignment within our poses.  

 

**Please have props handy: a belt, blocks, and blanket, if possible. If you do not have access to props, be creative with what is in your home that may be able to double as a prop!

Virtual Release and Restore Yoga

Mondays, 9:00 - 10:00 am

Lynn Crawford will lead this virtual class through Zoom every Monday at 9:00 am.  You will need to have several props ready to go before the class begins.  You will need: a yoga mat or blanket to lay on the floor, a blanket or towel to sit on, a strap (a cloth bathrobe belt works well), a bolster of some kind (a firm, large pillow or couch cushion), a beach towel, and two blocks approx. 3" x 6" x 9" (large books or sturdy shoe boxes will work).  You will also need internet access on your cell phone, iPad, or computer.  Once you pay from your computer, a meeting ID number will be sent to you the day of the event by email so you can access the class on your device.  

$8 per class  Please complete payment at least 1 hour before class. 

Virtual Vinyasa Yoga - Monday

Mondays, 6:00 - 7:15 pm

Resuming May 11  Molly Jo Stanley will be teaching this online class, Mondays, 6:00 - 7:15 pm. You'll want a mat; blocks, blanket(s) and a bolster may be helpful, though not required.  Dress in layers and have water on hand.

By bringing full attention to the breath, thoughtful, dynamic movement follows to create strength, flexibility and simultaneous stillness and peace within. Each class weaves together supportive and powerful flowing sequences to move the body toward static poses, arm balances and inversions.  Though some yoga experience is recommended, this practice is approachable for beginning and seasoned practitioners alike, and variations are available for every body.  Students can expect a harmonious union of centering meditation; pranayama; engaging, mindful movement; joyful expression and transformational challenge.  

Once you pay from your computer, a meeting ID number will be sent to you the day of the event by email so you can access the class on your device.

Virtual Slow Flow Yoga

Wednesdays, 9:00 - 10:15

Resuming May 13  This class will be taught by Molly Jo Stanley, Wednesdays, 9:00 -10:15. You'll want a mat; blanket, blocks and a bolster may be helpful though not required.  Slow Flow Yoga weaves together supportive and fluid sequences to move the body toward static poses, balancing postures, and inversions. One can expect harmonious union of centering meditation; pranayama (breath work); mindful movement and joyful expression. This practice is for beginners to seasoned practitioners alike; variations are available for every body. 

Once you pay from your computer, a meeting ID number will be sent to you the day of the event by email so you can access the class on your device.

Virtual Gentle Yoga

Thursdays, 9:30 - 10:30 am

The Thursday morning, 9:30 am class is being led by Lynn Crawford.  You will need a yoga mat or blanket to lay on and a blanket or towel to fold to sit on.  You may also need a strap (a cloth robe belt works well.)  You will also need internet access on your cell phone, iPad, or computer.  Once you pay from your computer, a meeting ID number will be sent to you the day of the event by email so you can access the class on your device.  

$8 per class   Please complete payment at least 1 hour before class. 

Virtual Hatha Yoga

Fridays, 9:30 -10:30 am

Suzi McKinney will be teaching this DONATION ONLY class on Fridays, 9:30 - 10:30 am. 

Hatha Yoga is a branch of yoga derived from the Sanskrit terms "ha" meaning "sun" and "tha" meaning "moon." Classes will start out relaxing with a focus on centering through the use of pranayama (breathing) or short meditations, then move onto warming up the body through sun salutations before progressing through the rest of the asanas which are typically be held for longer with an emphasis on alignment and sense awareness. Modifications and up levels make this class suitable for all levels of practitioners. 

$5 suggested donation

Virtual Groove Dance Experience

Wednesdays, 6:00 - 7:00 pm

Join Jan Stevens for a fun and music filled dance experience every Wednesday, 6:00 - 7:00 pm.  She offers a variety of music to get you up and moving as she demonstrates new ways to move and groove.
